Dragonfish the B2B division of 888, has just agreed to extend their agreement to provide software for Costa Bingo for another 3 years which will see them working together until July 2013.

This follows on from the recent extension of Dragonfish’s B2B deal with its biggest licensee, Partygaming who are owned by Cashcade, who operates the Foxy Bingo site.

The Chief Executive of Costa, Richard Skelhorn said the Dragonfish platform had “allowed us to focus our skills on player acquisition, which has been really important to the business over the last ten months. We look forward to launching new rooms on the Dragonfish platform this year.”

Portal and Data provider BingoPort has said that Costa Bingo became one of the busiest UK based online bingo sites within 6 months of them launching in summer 2009 and put this down to their use of the free bingo model.

Skelhorn told eGaming Review that he will remain focused on making Costa Bingo “one of the top three bingo rooms in the UK, not just in terms of traffic, but in revenue as well.”

Costa has also been focusing its attention on social networking space, adapting its bingo software with Dragonfish to allow players to invite their friends via Facebook and other networking sites.
