Bingo News: Harrah's Sign Deal With 888
888's new sister company Dragonfish have signed a deal with Harrah's Interactive Entertainment, the online division of the US casino Harrah's. 888 will supply support to Harrah's online casinos and poker sites.
Online gambling is currently illegal in the US under the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA). If the situation ever changes this could be a lucrative deal for 888.
888 have currently not reached any settlement in the US about their activitys offering online gambling to US players prior to the UIGEA.
After the announcement, shares in 888 rose 16% which is good news after the recent slump when 888 pulled out of a deal to buy Cashcade.
