Carlton Bingo Review

Carlton Bingo is a recent addition to the online bingo community but has been offering bingo hall based games for years. There are currently 14 land bingo halls belonging to Carlton so they should know what they’re doing bingo wise. The software on site if provided by Virtue Fusion another name you can trust so hopefully, this site should be quite good...

You don’t need to download any software to play bingo at Carlton Bingo but you will need to create an account with them but don’t worry this isn’t too laborious. You will need to choose a username and password followed by the usual personal details. There’s no free cash when you join which is a shame but there is a Sign up Bonus waiting for you when you deposit. The Carlton Bingo site is a bit misleading as the Promos page and homepage clearly states that there is 200% Sign Up Bonus on first deposits between £5 and £100 but once you’ve signed up you are taken to a page offering you 100% on your first deposit up to £250. I doubled checked with a CM who confirmed that there is actually 200% bonus up to £250.

Deposit options include Delta, Mastercard, Moneybookers, Neteller, paysafecard, Solo, Switch / Maestro, UKash, Visa and Visa Electron. You can deposit as little as £5 which is a rarity these days.

There is just one bingo room at Carlton Bingo which is a perfectly good room but it’s always nice to have a choice. The room itself is decked out in the Carlton blue and red colour scheme and all the game info is easy enough to find so you can see the prize, ticket price and players in the room. The bingo calling is speedy and traditional so nothing too exciting but it does the job and there’s no hanging about. If you fancy a bit of banter the chat room is very fun and friendly and is pretty busy most of the time. Whilst you play bingo you can also play slots, scratchcards and number games and there’s even a ‘favourites’ section so you can see what everybody’s raving about at the time.
You can also access the mini games from the home page and there’s a fair few to try out including casino and number games, keno and slots. You can stake as little as 1p on a game right up to £10 and you can play these games even if you’re on a budget.

If you get stuck and need assistance you can ask the CM on duty who should be more than happy to help or alternatively there’s live help, email and a telephone number available for the support team.
At the time of writing this review, Carlton Bingo didn’t have any sort of Loyalty Program which is a bit of a let down as most online bingo sites offer some sort of Loyalty Scheme no matter how shoddy it is.
There’s a community section which gives you the low down on etiquette when using the chat rooms and the latest bingo lingo so if you’re a newbie and don’t know what everybody’s talking about in chat, take a look at this page to brush up on your bingo lingo.

Try as I might, I couldn’t find a friend referral scheme either so I was less than impressed with the lack of rewards for loyal members. Carlton Bingo’s promotions page only consisted of their Sign up Bonus so I’ve not got much to tell you on the promos front either. Sorry!

Overall, I wasn’t particularly impressed by Carlton Bingo. The bonus info wasn’t overly clear and it appears to be the only offer of any description on the whole site so that’s pretty bad especially as the homepage boasts ‘fantastic promotions’! The chat room is pretty busy and full of friendly roomies and there’s a good selection of mini games. It is disappointing that there is only one bingo room to play in but it does the job though 25p per ticket wasn’t the bargain bingo I had hoped for. I haven’t got anything brilliant to say about the site and I certainly won’t be recommending you try it as there are far better sites on the market that have much more to offer in terms of content and promotions.
