Fairys Bingo Review

Fairys Bingo have tried to do something that no other bingo site we’ve ever encountered has done: Provide a truly localised bingo experience. At first, the spiel on the homepage seems a little Xenophobic, openly stating that their site is a UK site for UK players, though as you read on they also encourage local slang and regional phrases to make people more at home and really make you feel that you’re playing somewhere sociable rather than a sterile, virtual substitute for a land-based bingo outlet.

Despite its name, the site isn’t too female-orientated – the fairy theme is more cartoonish than overly girly, but it’s clearly aimed predominately at women. To the operators’ credit, it took us a while before we even realised this was a Dragonfish site – one of many bingo sites powered by their software, which tend to be very generic. However, they have some bingo games outside the usual template and claim to offer localised playing that the other Dragonfish sites do not, and we wish them well in their endeavour to stand out from the crowd.

The site navigates easily and doesn’t require any download, and – in common with its sister sites – it loads up pages as quickly as any other site you’ll find, no matter which browser you’re in.

They’ll take Visa and Mastercard credit cards, but openly state that they prefer Visa, and also take Solo, Switch, Delta, Visa Electron and Maestro as well as PayPal, Neteller, Paysafecard, UKash and Entropay. If these are your thing there are plenty of cheap slots that play well and lift themselves above the competition by including enough wild, scatter and free spin features to pass themselves off as genuine games that would pass muster on a slots-only site.

Customer support is par excellence, which is probably the best advantage of using the Dragonfish platform - so there’s 24 hour chat, email and phone support.

Fairys Bingo is one of the better Dragonfish sites out there: If anyone’s guilty of putting up bland, unimaginative white label sites it’s some of the less impressive Dragonfish licencees, but Fairys have managed to sprinkle enough magic dust onto the standard template to really make this site their own, whilst still keeping all the good aspects like the superb customer service options. Whether or not the games are as localised as they say we couldn’t really determine – and we don’t know how that can be achieved through a mostly off-the-shelf development like this, but it’s no big deal – we like playing with a diverse crowd anyway, and enjoyed ourselves here.
