Prime Slots Review

Prime Slots is one of a number of sites that uses Neogaming’s software to offer up a selection of slots, casino games, scratchcards and other instant win games. We know of at least one other site using a virtually identical format, though the intro screen and lobby here is the most attractive and user –friendly we’ve seen for a Neogames site.

You can tell that it’s a Flash development (i.e. no download required) as soon as you see the intro screen: There’s just something about the styling with its breezy, contemporary feel combined with slick, animated trailers for the games that gives it away and this approach continues into the games lobby, until you see the icons for the games, which look very dated. Don’t let that out you off though, as once the games load up (and they did – very quickly) they’re actually every bit as contemporary as the lobby.

Prime Slots’ banking policy is found by clicking on the Help tab – quite why, we’ll never know. Many of the other slots on this site score similar victories, through the application of imagination and sheer good taste rather than technological overload, which we approved of highly.

Whilst you’re here you really should check out the scratchcards, as that what Neogames are really known for: They come in a variety of formats and there are dozens to choose from – at least 4 of 5 times as many as you’d find elsewhere. Contrary to what most people imagine, it’s not simply a case of clicking on grey squares and watching an animated finger reveal the symbol underneath: They come with horse and motor racing features and other surprisingly-unique ideas to really spice up the experience and get your pulse going.

Although the name of this site is well-justified, Neogames are better-known for their scratchcards than for their slots, so if you come here be sure to give them a try as nobody else has beaten them in this sector of the market to date. That said, the slots are more impressive than you’d expect, given that most people haven’t heard of Neogames. They’re clearly trying to compete with the big slot players as their headline games use some of the same features, but we feel that they could win out simply by sticking with 2d games and keeping the quality up to their existing level. These slots aren’t just for scratchcard players looking for a break – they’re considerably better than that…
