Robin Hood Bingo

Robin Hood Bingo Review

Robin Hood Bingo is the new bingo site brought to you by the people behind Gossip Bingo and Moon Bingo, NewCo Entertainment.

Software

The site is run on the ever popular Dragonfish online bingo software and has a Robin Hood theme with Sherwood Forest in the backdrop and various bags of Robin's loot sprawled all over the place. It certainly looks like a fun place to play bingo.

Before you can start playing bingo, you will need to register but this doesn't take a minute and you'll get access to free bingo games in the Newbies Room for 4 days once you're done. You will be asked to enter your personal and contact details, and to choose a username and password for your account. It's all pretty standard stuff and once you've finished, you can get cracking on those freebie games.

Payment

You can fund your account using Paypal, Paysafecard, Neteller, Mastercard, Solo, Switch, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, Ukash and Delta.

Games

This site offers 75 ball and 90 ball bingo, free bingo and instant games. There's not a great deal of instant games to choose from, with just 12 from the looks of it but this may change further down the line, there's certainly plenty of bingo including a whole section dedicated to pre-buys. The bingo lobby shows you the Robin Hood themed bingo rooms which include Money Tree and Friar Luck. You can see what jackpot is available in each room, plus ticket prices and when the next game is due to start, at a glance. Ticket prices are very reasonable, starting at just 1p and there's some pretty impressive jackpots to be won.

Style

The bingo room, in keeping with the rest of the site has the Sherwood Forest backdrop with brown bingo tickets and blue skies in the background. You can see the jackpot, players in the room and other important info easily enough and you can choose your own tickets , which is always a plus. The bingo calling is fast and fun and you can play a small selection of mini games alongside your bingo game. The chat room was fairly quiet when I visited but it's very early days for

Robin Hood Bingo so this will no doubt change when they get a bit busier. I didn't see too much of the Chat Hosts when I was playing, which is unusual as they are normally all over you when you enter the room encouraging you to buy tickets and starting up the odd conversation, you might actually prefer to just get on with your bingo though.

Support

If you need help at any stage, the Help page is very informative. There's a tab containing info on getting started, info for players who are new to bingo and need to know some of the basics as well as FAQs and contact details for the Support Team. The team are on hand to answer your questions 24/7 and can be emailed direct, contacted via web form or called on a free phone telephone number.

Offers and promotions

There's plenty of promotions to keep you busy at Robin Hood Bingo starting with their Coins offer. Players collect coins for every consecutive day they sign into their account and for playing bingo, referring friends and for participating in Twitter and Facebook promos. Every 1000 coins collected are worth £1 in your account, there's 10,000 coins for each friend referral so that's a free tenner every time you recruit a mate to the site and there's 2000 coins for liking the Robin Hood page on Facebook so that's another quick and easy £2 earned. There's plenty of other promotions on site but I would recommend you check the promotions page for more info.

You can win £5000 for just a penny!

When you do fund your account, you will get a free £25 welcome bonus on a first deposit of just £10 + 100 FREE SPINS.

Loyalty scheme

The Royalty Scheme is the site's loyalty program and is open to all players who have achieved £500 in deposits since they opened their accounts. Robin will automatically make you a Royal Player once you meet this requirement and you will quickly begin to reap the rewards.

Overall feel

Overall I have been quite impressed with Robin Hood Bingo, I can't wait to see what else they have in store for us down the line. There's a great selection of bingo games at affordable prices, some juicy jackpots and the site is nice and easy to get around. I was quite surprised that the Chat Hosts weren't overly visible they popped in and out of rooms without saying anything but this doesn’t bother me much and you can always natter away to your fellow roomies. If you're looking for somewhere new and fun to play bingo in 2012, this could be the site for you.
