Bingo News: Foxy Bingo advert is approved

Claims that an advert made for online bingo provider Foxy Bingo, targeted children have been dismissed by the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA).

Atelevisionviewer complained that the TV advert,which see’sa man dressed as a fox, strolling down a street followed acrowd of people is appealing to young people.

The ASA disregarded this complaint, noting that as the Foxy character is designed to represent an older figure it is appealing to a target audience of women aged over 35.

The news provider stated thatFoxy Bingo has described its character as “mature” and dressed in a “smart, formal suit”.
