Bingo News: Free Online Bingo Show for Channel Five

Five will be broadcasting a brand new free online bingo show every weekday morning. Bingo players will be able to enjoy the popular 90 ball bingo game for free and the show will include 10 online bingo games.

The Five Free Bingo Show will begin at 11:00am on weekdays and will last one hour per day, the show will be web streamed on the internet and they hope that it will create more vistors to the Five Bingo and Casino websites. Bingo players will be able to win cash prizes by playingfree bingowith no deposit required for adults over 18 years old. The presenter of the new bingo show will be Charlie McArdle and will be produced by Two Way Media.

Five currently have an agreement in place with PartyGaming, this has lead to Five launching branded bingo and casino gaming services including Five Bingo which has so far have been successful.

Jonathan Lewis, Head of Digital Media at Five commented on the new Free Bingo Show; The business model that underpins commercial TV is changing and broadcasters must diversify their revenue streams. Gaming activities such as Five’s online bingo and casino services are just one such example of how broadcasters can broaden their revenue base beyond traditional sources.

The Free Bingo Show will be a different way of advertising, driving traffic and introducing new bingo players for Five Bingo. The show will be promoted on Five’s website and accross their television channels too. Changes to regulations by Ofcom have encouraged Five to develop and promote gaming and last month they agreed a five year deal with NetPlay TV to broadcast SuperCasino.com.
