Bingo night live launched on the 4th of June 2008 on the ITV network in the UK.
The game is powered by PartyGaming who also run Party Bingo, which you may have played before.
The game is free and very much simplified to what i’m used to with many other online bingo sites. You are given four bingo cards that are green, purple, orange and blue.
Prizes are given for one line, two lines then a golden jackpot is introduced if you can get the full house in less than a certain amount of calls. Then if the jackpot isn’t called the game continues until a full house is called.
At points through each game, presenter Nichola Dixon provides player statistics, lucky star signs, facts and figures. I personally found this a bit laborious and just wanted to get on with the game, I think it must be too many years playing bingo online, it’s all at a much faster pace. Idid missthe chat aspect of online bingo too, it’s much more fun being able to chat while you play and share how many numbers you haveto gowith your friends, ratherthan being told thatDave from Essexhas 1 number togo!Who else cares? I did howeverlike the novelty factor of Bingo Night Live, seeing the numbers called on the TV then seeing them get crossed off my cards on the site felt quite different. Also the jackpot is a lot of money and when you have 2 numbers to go on your card it can get quite exciting. I guess you can’t really complain as it is free!
