Online Bingo: 75 Ball Versus 90 Ball Bingo

By Becky Mosley - November 13 2009

As you might or might not know there are 2 main types of bingo played around the World and they are 75 and 90 Ball Bingo. 75 Ball Bingo requires you play a pattern which can be a simple single line or a slightly more complicated themed pattern. The aim is always the same to mark off numbers and get your desired pattern. Speed Bingo is exactly the same except that the numbers are called a lot quicker!

90 Ball Bingo involves a card containing three horizontal lines and nine columns. Each line has five numbers giving you a grand total of 15 numbers per card. The first column has the numbers 1 to 10, the second 11 to 20, the third has 21 to 30 and the last column contains numbers 81 to 90.

90 Ball Bingo games normally have 3 stages; one line, two lines and the Full House. In a one line game the player must mark off numbers in a horizontal line across one card (that’s 5 numbers). The objective of a two line bingo game is pretty similiar where you need to mark off two lines horizontally across the card (10 numbers). The Full House is when you have managed to mark off all 15 numbers on the bingo card. The prize is generally different for each stage of the game and the Full House is always the most sought after as it’s always the largest prize of the game!

Most of the online bingo sites feature both games so that you don’t have to choose between the different game types, 90 ball bingo is usually the most popular game.
