Two more great bingo events in the news this week

The words charity and bingo seem synonymous with one another this month. There are more charity bingo games going on than seemingly ever before. This week, there’s two more heart-warming pieces of charity bingo news for everyone.

Christmas Bingo in Runcorn

Over in Runcorn, a Christmas bingo game is being held to raise money for the local scouts. The Third and Ninth Runcorn Scout Group are raising funds to replace their leaking store room. It seems like a simple enough request, doesn’t it? This charity bingo game will take place at The Pavilions on Sandy Lane, Weston Point, on November 26. The starting time for that bingo game is 7.30pm on the Wednesday, with tickets available at the door. All of the proceeds for this bingo game will go to the scouts’ charity and everybody is welcome to play.

Patrick Monahon performs at Mecca Bingo, Dagenham

Elsewhere, hilarious comedian Patrick Monahan is also hoping to raise the roof, when he performs at Mecca Bingo this month. Monahan will be performing at the Dagenham Mecca Bingo hall, and it will be a first for the Georgie, but he won’t be the only person on the bill. Carly Smallman is set to join the funny man on the stage at the Dagenham Mecca. Smallman is vastly more experienced at playing the comedy circuit in Dagenham. Graeme Matthews and Nick Banks are also performing at the bingo hall.

The Laughing Pod Comedy Club takes place at 9pm on Saturday, November 29 at the Dagenham Mecca Bingo Hall. Tickets cost £10 or £15 with free food, and can be bought via website.

Both of these bingo events can be attended by anyone and everyone. Bingo it seems, it more than just calling balls and winning prizes; it is about bringing everybody together, too.
