Biscuit Bingo Review
There’s nothing half-baked about brand new bingo site Biscuit Bingo: Fresh out of the oven and onto your screen sporting a comforting, contemporary design and plenty of bingo and side games, it gives off a very reassuring vibe as soon as you enter the lobby.
Biscuit Bingo is brought to you by the increasingly-proficient Cozy Games on their Best Bingo Network, which is clearly their best yet: Unlike most other bingo software houses, Cozy operate a number of independent, yet similar networks, but the Best Bingo Network or BBN offers something that the others don’t with all four types of bingo on tap.
Being a UK-facing site you get the standard 90 ball game, along with the 4x4 80 ball grids that Cozy traditionally offer as well – however there’s 75 ball bingo here now, which – although considered a staple on many other networks – had yet to make it onto all of Cozy’s sites until now, presumably due to its relatively recent arrival on the UK scene.
There’s also the increasingly-important 30 ball game, currently riding high as the enfant terrible of the bingo world: Pacey and tremendously exciting, this game has done more than any other to finally rid bingo of its blue-rinse reputation and drag the kids away from the slots and table games for an altogether different kind of thrill.
All standard payment options were present and correct: Although virtually everyone pays by credit or debit card these days, it’s nice to know that e-wallet payments are supported along with UKash, a real boon for anyone unable to get a UK bank account but fancies a few games of funded bingo.
Signing up at Biscuit Bingo was refreshingly easy: The single page registration form was made as easy as possible to fill in for players: No annoying auto-fills or ambiguous phone number fields were found here, and unlike quite a few registration forms we could mention it’s clearly aimed at UK players, and won’t ask you to enter your state or zip code.
More importantly, though, is the lack of any requirement to give card details before playing: We can’t believe there are sites out there that still do this, but pick a few bingo sites at random and, sure enough, you’ll quickly stumble across one that offers you free cash but will make you hand over card details before letting you play with it. Nothing spoils the party with free bonuses like these blatant attempts to extract money from you, and we therefore applaud Cozy’s approach.
You get the feeling that Cozy have distilled the best elements of their other networks for sites using the Best Bingo Network, as Biscuit is every bit as functional but somehow feels a little more ‘with it’ in terms of pop-up offers and other visuals like the handy quick links that appear on the right hand side of the screen.
You’ll also find something very useful in the offers section, that steals a genuine march over other bingo and slot sites: Biscuit Bingo has a handy jackpot table that lets you see at a glance what the current progressive prizes are for both bingo and slot games, so if you’re seeking a seriously large win you’ll know exactly where to go without having to conduct a lengthy search.
Although they don’t make a fuss about it, Biscuit Bingo is fully mobile-enabled: There’s a tab on the main toolbar in the lobby that’ll tell you everything you need to know, but there’s plenty of bingo and slot games – 30 in all – to keep you busy when you’re stuck at the bus stop, in a really dull meeting or – ironically – tucking into the Custard Creams over a morning cuppa.
Customer support is covered from every angle with a very lengthy set of FAQs, an email facility, support tickets and the all-important live chat. Our test query was picked up within 30 seconds and answered in less than 2 minutes, despite our operative referring the query up to her supervisor: If you have no frame of reference then take it from us that’s about as efficient as you’ll find anywhere.
