Peek - A - Boo
One thing that Microgaming is well known for is plucking old games from obscurity and giving them a whole new lease of life. If you’re a stickler for the classics, then you will, no doubt, love this approach by the popular software developer. Now, the team at Microgaming have done it again, maybe even better than ever, with the launch of the new and improved Peek A Boo.
You don’t need to be familiar with the original Peek A Boo game to know just how fun and exciting this slot is. It was released back in October, just in time for Halloween, and is filled with suitably spooky animations. The colour scheme is bright and colourful and cheery, cartoonish ghosts, ghouls and ghost hunters at as symbols on the reels. Lower value symbols are made up of an array of trick or treat Halloween sweets.
How to play
Peek A Boo has a simple, straightforward format with five reels and four rows. There is a fixed amount of 40 pay lines across the reels and you can adjust your betting stake by changing the size of the coins on each of these lines. Coin sizes can start from as little as 1p each, which means that the price of spins starts at 40p and goes all the way up to £100. When you’ve settled on a wager you’re happy with, all that’s left to do is hit spin and wait for a winning combination to appear on the reels.
Bonuses and extras
Halloween is all about scary surprises, but you can rest assured that the extra features in Peek A Boo are filled with treats with no tricks in sight. Gavin’s Ghost Meter can be seen on the right of the reels, every time Gavin the gun toting ghost buster zaps one of the ghosts on the reels, one free spin will be added to this meter. When you reach a total of ten spins on the ghost meter, the free spins round will be triggered. This is not your usual free spin bonus; the game will whisk you away to a new set of reels where you’ll find no pay lines but a whopping 1024 ways to win instead.
